About this event

On Wednesday, September 30th from 3-4:30pm, NAZA is celebrating 10 years of investing in high-quality afterschool and summer learning experiences for Nashville youth, plus we'll preview our new Vision for Holistic Youth Development. You'll hear uplifting stories from youth and families about how NAZA has helped change lives by cultivating leadership and life skills, connecting youth to positive relationships, and inspiring their love for learning. We will also recognize community partners and stakeholders over the past 10 years.

Our Zoom celebration will include:

  • A welcome from city leaders
  • A preview of our city's new Vision for Holistic Youth Development
  • Stories from the many youth and families supported by NAZA
  • Recognition of community partners and key stakeholders
  • An (optional) opportunity to share your #NAZAstory

If you'd like, please bring something that represents NAZA to you - could be a photo, piece of art, something someone in a NAZA-funded program made for you, something with the NAZA logo, or anything else that reminds you of NAZA.

Space is limited - register today!

The Nashville After Zone Alliance (NAZA) is a partnership between Nashville Public Library, Metro Nashville Public Schools, the Mayor’s Office, and 20+ nonprofit and community-based organizations across Nashville. NAZA’s mission is to increase equitable access to afterschool and summer learning experiences that help Nashville youth thrive and develop to their full potential. We do this by investing funds in afterschool and summer programs; strengthening program capacity; convening the youth development community and stakeholders; advocating for holistic youth development; and empowering youth through initiatives that cultivate their leadership and life skills, connect them to positive relationships, and inspire their love for learning.
